WAS goes beyond Warsaw

On June 1, WAS, a company based at Warsaw, launched handling activity at Rzeszow airport (RZE).
 
This date can be marked as a turning point on the market of ground handling services in Poland since by entering Rzeszow airport WAS became the first Polish ground handling company that renders handling services on more than one Polish Airports.
 
WAS purchased and delivered all the GHE necessary for providing professional handling services, namely: belt loader, high loader and baggage carts.
Additionally 40 people from the sub Carpathian region were employed within WAS structure.


Since June 03rd, WAS launched handling of Polish national flag carrier LOT, which started its flight operations from Rzeszow to New York two times weekly.
