WAS is owned by Polish Airports State Enterprise and was founded in January 2000. Since the very beginning the company purpose has been to create the environment of competitiveness on the market of ground handling services.

 

WAS has been always focused on the considerable raise of the quality of services rendered at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport where the volume of passengers is constantly growing. Another WAS target has also been to adjust the Polish law to the European Union requirements.

 

Initially our strategic partner was SAS Group, which shared with us with their know-how, helped in organization and carrying out the professional trainings for personnel and guided us through the first year of our operational activity.

Since its foundation the Company has been constantly and systematically enhancing its offer:

• since 01.08.2005 - services for corporate and private aircrafts in dedicated VIP Aviation Terminal at Warsaw Airport
  
• since 01.04.2006 - airport information services at Warsaw Airport
  
• since 18.07.2006 - call center at Warsaw Airport
  
• since 15.12.2006 - call center and airport information services at Krakow Airport
  
• since 01.06.2007 - complex ground handling services at Rzeszów Airport
